Bio
As a victim of childhood sexual assault I have felt the shame of carrying that secret for most of my life. I had hoped I would never have to talk about it or think about it again. But, when my family was forced to deal with a similar situation it became apparent to me that this was not something I could hide from.
Only by confronting our darkest demons can we every really be free to step into the light.
My MISSION
My goal is to make childhood sexual assault and prevention a household dinner conversation topic. Having age appropriate conversations with children regarding their bodies and body autonomy is imperative in protecting our children. Talking about touch should not be taboo. The only way to take the power back from abusers is by educating and warning their would be victims.
It’s time to change the narrative.
Together we can create a safe space for all children to be heard.
While I believe internet safety should be a priority for parents,
the reality is
your child is more likely to be sexually assaulted by someone you already know and trust.

“Just making it safe and letting them know like, hey, if there's ever something, especially when we talk about sexual abuse that's questionable to you, don't just sit with that being a question. Go to somebody, talk about it. Ask other people, like utilize other people in your circles, your friends to be like, hey, this kind of, it felt weird. And just talk and communicate about it.”
